About The Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of the company's products, both internally built and manufactured. You will work closely with the Quality Team to ensure all processes adhere to established standards and contribute to the ongoing improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance practices within manufacturing or product development environments, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Proven experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing or product development setting is essential. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar frameworks is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities, are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency with quality management systems and tools, as well as a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations
- Conducting audits and inspections
- Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation to support manufacturing and product development processes
- Collaborating with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Participating in root cause analysis and failure investigations to prevent recurrence of issues
- Monitoring key quality metrics and preparing reports for management to inform decision-making
- Proactively identifying risks and opportunities for process enhancements to maintain high standards of quality across all products
