About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join Safran as a Senior Aerospace Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for leading complex engineering projects, developing innovative solutions to technical challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of aerospace products. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace or defense industries. A master’s degree or higher is preferred. Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, materials science, and propulsion systems is essential. Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and engineering analysis is required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are vital, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Candidates must demonstrate a strong problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Aerospace Engineer at Safran, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing aerospace components and systems in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Leading technical reviews, performing detailed analysis, and validating designs through testing and simulation.
- Collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
- Documenting technical specifications, providing technical guidance to junior engineers, and participating in project planning and risk assessment activities.
- Staying updated on technological advancements and industry regulations to incorporate best practices into your work.
- Troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing existing systems, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
