About The Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Agent to join our team on a contract basis at our Biggin Hill location. This role is vital in overseeing supplier performance and ensuring the seamless resolution of production disruptions within the aerospace sector. The Supplier Quality Agent will take ownership of supplier-related issues, lead structured problem-solving initiatives, and coordinate cross-functional activities to uphold the company's commitment to quality and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong background in quality assurance, supplier management, and technical problem-solving to contribute to critical projects and initiatives within a globally recognized aerospace organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over five years of experience in a technical or related field, such as technical documentation, technical writing, website development, or proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Candidates should demonstrate extensive experience in data collection, analysis, and program tracking, with a strong ability to interpret and present data effectively using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, particularly in organizing and delivering training sessions. Additionally, candidates should have a proven track record in writing policies and procedures, managing related projects, and conducting benchmarking and documentation mapping. Knowledge of regulatory Quality Systems, including TCCA and FAA requirements, along with Quality Assurance methods and techniques, is mandatory. A Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred, reflecting advanced expertise in process improvement and quality management.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of production disruptions related to supplier performance, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Lead structured problem-solving activities such as 8D and RCCA, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Follow up on corrective actions to verify their implementation and effectiveness, ensuring sustained improvements in supplier quality.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to restore and maintain operational stability, minimizing production downtime and quality issues.
- Organize and support various Quality Assurance activities, including project management, monthly reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Develop, review, and update policies and procedures related to supplier quality and compliance.
- Conduct training sessions for team members and suppliers to promote quality standards and best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive records of supplier performance and quality metrics, utilizing data analysis tools to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal quality systems, supporting audits and compliance reviews as required.
