About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, the successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing the quality standards across our manufacturing operations. This role involves supporting the development and maintenance of quality management systems, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001:2015. The Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure that our products consistently meet high-quality benchmarks. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction within a forward-thinking organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant third-level qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering, or demonstrate equivalent experience in a similar role. A minimum of two years' experience in a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control capacity within an engineering or manufacturing environment is essential. Candidates should have a strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality management principles. Experience conducting root cause analysis utilizing methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D, and Cause & Effect analysis is required. Knowledge of manufacturing special processes, including welding and painting, will be advantageous. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also necessary.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturing processes adhere to quality specifications and standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing non-conformance costs and enhancing product quality.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality procedures and best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality activities, audit reports, and corrective actions.
- Work closely with engineering and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues related to raw materials, components, or processes.
- Engage with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns and foster strong relationships.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements relevant to quality management.
