Your Tasks
As part of the Quality Team, you will be leading and taking responsibility of programmes to maintain and drive improvements to build world-class products for the communications {defence, space, transportation} industries, within a Lean Manufacturing Environment. This will involve leading assembly, inspection, and test of micro-components activities in a cleanroom environment of incoming materials, parts, and work-in-progress assemblies.
Data analysis of the precision-manufactured parts for the development of concepts and prototypes. In addition to determining pass, fail, or rework approach, you will be required to carry out rework, modifications, and reporting in accordance with approved work instructions and in support of development and concept/NPI projects. You will be required to drive development and creation of manufacturing standards and associated documentation. Engagement in key Product and Process-related projects in support of driving a Lean Quality Manufacturing Culture.
This role includes, but is not limited to:
- Manage quality systems in support of Corporate and Internal Quality Management System
- Change Control – PCR, DCR Concessions, Mod levels, SwBRT
- Non-conformance handling
- Software Release
- SWS, development, approvals, review, improvements
- Plan and conduct internal audits ISO9001, ISO27001
- Manage KPI, PI
- Present Metrics and projects progress findings, improvements, and proposals at all levels.
- Participate in planning and scheduling and manage time to meet agreed-on time delivery
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for Health and Safety and Environment compliance
- Manage work area to agreed 5S standards
- Participate in and drive Lean practices including identification, investigation, and implementation of organization programmes and projects
- Provide advice and training to peers
- Communication with peers, Engineers, management team, and cross-functional departments

Your Profile
- Attention to detail and an awareness of Health & Safety practices, are key to this role
- Internal Auditor Certification, ISO9001, and/or ISO27001
- Knowledge and experience of Legislative standards, RoHS, REACH, SCIP
- Knowledge and proven delivery of RCCA and problem-solving tools and techniques, 8D methodology, FMEA
- Knowledge and experience of statistical data analysis and tools (Minitab, JMP)
- Evidence of Strong Practical Skills Is Essential
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of processes
- Ability to implement those processes
- Able to interpret engineering proposals and liaise with other disciplines
- Able to follow work instructions
- Create work instructions, if required
- Capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision
- An excellent team player who can positively influence the team; being able to contribute ideas to improve process times, quality, and yield
- Familiar with using Microsoft Excel, or MES systems for data entry
