Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will hold a third-level qualification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering, or possess equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control role within an engineering or manufacturing setting is essential.
• Candidates should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards, quality management principles, and root cause analysis methodologies such as 5 Why, 8D, and Cause & Effect analysis.
• Knowledge of manufacturing special processes like welding and painting is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are critical for success in this role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to work independently while collaborating across departments are necessary attributes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standards.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations to identify and address quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Support supplier quality assurance activities, including audits and performance reviews.
• Monitor key quality metrics and prepare reports for management review, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Participate in the development and review of control plans, inspection procedures, and work instructions.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to quality activities.
