SRG are delighted to once again be working with a specialist aerospace & defence manufacturing company based in North Lanarkshire to assist in their search for a Quality Manager to oversee the implementation and upkeep of the QMS whilst ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The Role
As Quality Manager you will lead an experienced Quality Engineering Team who are responsible for enabling product and process compliance to relevant industry standards.
Whilst ensuring compliance you will also be heavily involved in the development of the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS) according to ISO9001 and AS9100. You will be responsible for leading all quality assurance activities including inspections, audits and product testing and ensuring relevant documentation is maintained accurately.

Alongside internal facing responsibilities you will work closely with customers and suppliers ensuring quality issues are addressed appropriately as and when required.
The Right Person
- Management and development of quality management systems - AS9100 standard Desirable
- Demonstrable knowledge of technical engineering disciplines (mechanical, chemical, electronic) - Ideally educated to degree standard.
- Team management experience
- Demonstrable experience identifying and implementing process improvement
- Industrial knowledge of the process and controls used in the manufacture of high reliability products
- Comfortable communicating with a wide range of customers and suppliers

Role Details
- Salary up to £65,000 p/a
- Fully Dayshift & Mon-Fri (Half Day on a Friday)
- Permanent, full-time position
