Quality and Governance Manager – Healthcare
Location: Wimbledon, London (SW19 4EU)
Working Arrangement: Fully on-site, Monday to Friday
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Director of Nursing
Help shape the quality and safety of specialist care.
Are you an experienced healthcare quality and governance professional with a passion for improving standards, driving positive change and ensuring outstanding care?
At HFH Healthcare, we're looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Quality and Governance Manager to lead our quality assurance and governance activities, supporting the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care to adults, children and young people in their own homes.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, influence best practice and work closely with clinical teams and senior leadership.
What will you be doing?
- Leading and maintaining our quality and clinical governance framework.
- Overseeing incidents, complaints, investigations and safeguarding processes.
- Managing quality audits, risk registers and improvement action plans.
- Supporting compliance with CQC regulations, healthcare legislation and internal policies.
- Coordinating regulatory notifications, duty of candour and external reporting requirements.
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve care quality.
- Preparing governance reports and presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Supporting CQC inspection readiness and commissioner reviews.
- Promoting a positive culture of learning, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Supporting and developing governance colleagues and working collaboratively with clinical and operational teams.

What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who combines strong healthcare governance knowledge with excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience in healthcare quality assurance, clinical governance or regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding and relevant healthcare legislation.
- Experience managing incidents, complaints and investigations.
- Knowledge of clinical audits, risk management and quality improvement.
- Confidence analysing data, preparing reports and presenting recommendations.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to challenge constructively, influence others and drive meaningful improvements.
- A collaborative, compassionate and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience within complex care, community healthcare or domiciliary care would be particularly valuable.
