Umbrella - £21.16 per hour - Umbrella
Job Purpose
As a Quality Improvement Officer, you will support Children's Services by leading on data quality assurance, performance reporting, financial administration, and business support activities. You will help ensure accurate information, effective monitoring, and continuous service improvement.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Lead on data quality assurance and data tracking activities.
- Collect, analyse and interpret data to support service improvement.
- Produce performance, management and statistical reports.
- Maintain and update service user records and databases.
- Support frontline staff and managers with administrative functions.
- Monitor case audits and quality assurance activities.
- Process financial transactions, invoices, purchase orders and payments.
- Assist with delegated budgets and financial monitoring.
- Produce financial reports and investigate discrepancies.
- Support subject access requests and information management processes.
- Undertake high-quality minute taking and meeting administration.
- Organise meetings, distribute papers and maintain diaries.
- Act as a key point of contact for enquiries from staff and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies.

Essential Experience Required
- Previous Business Support, Performance, Data Quality or Administrative experience.
- Experience producing reports and analysing data.
- Experience maintaining databases and electronic records.
- Experience processing financial information and invoices.
- Strong Microsoft Office and IT skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience supporting managers and operational teams.
- Minute taking experience desirable.
- Experience within Children's Services or Local Authority environments desirable.

Additional Information to Note
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday.
- 09:00 - 17:00.
- Woolwich, SE18 area.
- Experience working with data, reporting and financial processes highly desirable.
- Children's Services experience desirable.
Supplier Submission Deadline: 09th November 2026.
