Quality Inspector
Step into a hands-on role with real impact: as a Quality Inspector, you'll help protect product quality from lab testing through to finished components. This Quality Inspector position sits at the heart of the electroplating and metal finishing industry, supporting customers across automotive, aerospace, and white goods. What You Will Do
- Carry out wet lab testing, including routine chemical analyses of electroplating baths, and record results accurately.
- Inspect plated components at key stages, checking coating thickness, appearance, adhesion, and other quality characteristics.
- Use measuring and inspection equipment safely and effectively, ensuring inspection outcomes are traceable and complete.
- Work closely with production to identify quality issues, support investigations, and track corrective actions.
- Follow quality and laboratory procedures in line with AS9100, maintaining clear, up-to-date records.
- Challenge processes constructively when risks to quality or customer requirements are spotted.

What You Will Bring
- Practical experience in quality inspection, laboratory testing, manufacturing, or a similar environment (industry-specific training can be provided).
- A methodical, detail-focused approach, with strong commitment to accuracy and safe working practices.
- Confidence using measuring and inspection equipment and recording results properly.
- Ability to understand and follow technical procedures and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset to spot trends, resolve issues, and improve processes.
