Quality matters. Excellence is in the detail.
We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in jewellery manufacturing to join our team.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring jewellery meets our quality standards at every stage of production, from casting through to finished and purchased product. You’ll use your knowledge of jewellery manufacturing and workmanship to identify issues, make confident quality decisions, and ensure only products meeting the required standards move forward.
This is a varied role requiring excellent attention to detail, good judgement, and the ability to work flexibly across different product areas.
What you'll be doing
Quality Control
- Inspect jewellery and components at different stages of production, including casting, mounting, setting, wedding rings, and finished products.
- Assess workmanship, finish, and quality against customer requirements and documented standards.
- Make decisions to pass, repair, rework, or reject items.
- Identify and report defects, recurring quality issues, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure approved products are accurately recorded, processed, and progressed within required timescales.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
