Quality Inspector Location: Thetford, Norfolk Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum Contract: Permanent
We are recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established manufacturing business in Thetford. You will support day-to-day quality activities, ensuring manufactured components, assemblies and incoming materials meet the required specifications.
Key responsibilities:
- Inspect first-off, last-off and finished components, assemblies and incoming materials.
- Interpret technical drawings and complete dimensional inspections using appropriate metrology equipment.
- Identify, document and quarantine non-conforming components.
- Maintain inspection records, gauge calibration information and quality documentation.
- Support PPAP, machine trials, Gauge R&R studies and statistical data collection.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015.

About you:

- You will have at least three years’ experience in a quality inspection role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- You must be confident reading technical drawings and using dimensional inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of PPAP, Gauge R&R and ISO 9001:2015 would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, computer literacy and clear communication skills are also essential.
