We’re looking for a Quality Inspector to join our client’s growing team in Aldershot!

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of quality throughout the manufacturing process, from incoming materials and in-process inspections through to final product verification, documentation, and the management of non-conformances.

Quality Inspector

  • Salary: up to £39,000
  • Hours: Mon-Thurs 07.30 to 16.00. Fri 07.30 to 15.00
  • Working Week: 39 hour working week + Overtime available
  • Position Type: Permanent
  • Location: Aldershot, Hampshire

Job Description

  • Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to verify product compliance.
  • Complete inspection reports, certificates, and quality documentation.
  • Use a variety of inspection and measuring equipment, including hand tools, verniers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, and shadowgraphs, to verify product quality and compliance.
  • Identify, investigate, and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • A background in machining, manufacturing, assembly, or precision engineering.
  • Previous hands-on experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Engineer role.
  • Confident using a range of inspection equipment and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
