Quality Inspector Assistant
Location: Cirencester
Employment Type: Full Time | Permanent

At Corin, we are looking for a Quality Inspector Assistant to join our Quality Control team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to develop into a fully qualified Quality Inspector role. You'll receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience, learning the skills and processes required to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
Shift Patterns
Double Days (Rotating Earlies and Lates Shift Pattern)

Early Shifts
- Monday–Thursday: 5:15am – 13:45pm
- Friday: 5:15am – 10:45am (early finish!)

Late Shifts
- Monday–Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- Friday: 11:00am – 4:30pm (early finish!)

Salary: £24,900.00 + 20% shift allowance + bonus!
Weekday Nights

- Friday: 16:00pm - 20:50pm (early finish!)

What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Inspector Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced Quality team to develop your knowledge and skills in product inspection, measurement, and quality control activities. You will learn how to:
- Progress products through the Quality Control department to the highest quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
- Complete Device History Records (DHR) accurately and efficiently.
- Work on inspection batches and develop practical inspection skills.
- Verify the conformity of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products against agreed specifications.
- Carry out visual inspections and dimensional measurements using prescribed criteria.
- Identify and report non-conformances in line with documented procedures.
- Complete all associated quality documentation accurately and to the required standard.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and support a safe working environment.
- Prioritise inspection and measurement activities to meet business requirements.
- Adhere to Corin's Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 13485 requirements, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities and contribute towards achieving quality objectives.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a motivated individual who is eager to learn and build a long-term career within Quality Assurance and Inspection.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or other highly regulated environment.
- A genuine interest in quality, inspection, and engineering processes.
- A willingness to learn new skills, including measurement techniques and reading engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions based on product quality.
- A reliable, committed, and proactive approach to work.
- The ability to understand and apply Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to demonstrating Corin's values and behaviours at all times.
