DKM Sheet Metal Seeks Experienced Quality Inspector & Compliance

DKM Sheet Metal are looking for an experienced, proactive Quality Inspector & Compliance. This is not a traditional inspection role. We are looking for someone who understands manufacturing processes and enjoys solving problems, not simply identifying them. The successful candidate will work closely with production teams to investigate quality issues, identify root causes and help implement practical corrective actions that improve quality throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspection of manufactured components.
  • Verify products against engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards.
  • Identify non-conformances and work with production personnel to determine practical corrective actions.
  • Assist in root cause investigations and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and customer quality documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Support internal quality audits and customer quality requirements.
  • Assist with wider compliance activities, including supporting quality systems and selected health and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure measuring equipment is correctly maintained and calibrated.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
