The Role - Quality Inspector
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CMM Inspector to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Tewkesbury.
This is an urgent requirement to support an important and ongoing programme of work.
You will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies and working with various stakeholders to take appropriate action on non-conformities identified during inspection.
You’ll be working in a highly innovative environment to support production of strategically important parts and structures for the aerospace and defence sector.

Responsibilities - Quality Inspector
- Use of CMM for precision inspection.
- Dimensional and visual inspection of parts and assemblies
- Presenting and discussing nonconformities with the team
- Preparing non-conformity reports
- Inspecting non-conforming parts
- Participating in investigations and problem-solving tasks
Background - Quality Inspector
- Hands-on CMM experience (PC-DMIS preferable)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience in inspecting GD&T symbols
- Experience with inspection techniques and various measuring instruments and gauges.
- Knowledge of QMS system and Microsoft applications
