Quality Inspector
Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border | c£30,000
I'm currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based on Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border.
This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on electronics and PCB assemblies. You'll be responsible for inspecting products throughout the manufacturing process and ensuring they meet the required quality standards.
The role will involve:
- Inspecting PCB assemblies, soldering, wiring and mechanical assemblies
- Identifying and inspecting SMT and through-hole components
- Carrying out goods-in and shop-floor inspections
- Working from electrical/mechanical drawings and specifications
- Using measuring and inspection equipment
- Supporting quality across the production environment

We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in quality inspection within an electronics/manufacturing environment
- IPC-A-610 certification (ideally current)
- Good understanding of PCB assembly and soldering
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Ideally, experience working within an ISO9001 environment
