ABOUT CONDUCTOR CX

Conductor CX is a consultancy and delivery partner working with residential property developers, investors and operators across the UK and GCC. We assure quality, care for every home and every resident, and help our clients build reputation through outstanding customer experiences. This role sits within the Quality Assurance service line within Conductor Group Ltd.

Purpose and scope

To work alongside Conductor CX’s Senior Customer Experience Manager to deliver snag, de-snag and functionality inspections ahead of practical completion of the client’s new-build residential development, comprising c.350 private for-sale units, situated across two blocks. The successful candidate will operate as a self-employed contractor and will not be an employee of Conductor CX.

Project-level requirements

  • Comply with site-specific H&S inductions and PPE requirements.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the design specification, project nuances, and adhere to the accepted standard of finishes across the project.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of snag, de-snag and functionality inspections on the specified QA software.
  • Record and update snags accurately in line with the agreed quality assurance process.
  • Deliver inspections in line with agreed programme milestones and the QA scope for the project.
  • Build collaborative working relationships both internally and with the contractor, supplier, and client teams.
  • Flag any complex technical issues and/or significant snagging trends/risks for further discussion with the Senior CX Manager as they arise.
  • Produce reports and attend project meetings, where required and within capacity.

Experience required - Essential

  • Minimum five years’ relevant snagging or QA experience.
  • Holds own professional indemnity and public liability insurance (requirement under freelance agreement).
  • Demonstrable experience in the delivery of quality assurance/snagging protocols on digital software.
  • Demonstrable experience in conducting functionality inspections using relevant validation tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in reviewing design specifications and technical drawings.
  • Proven awareness of snagging guidance and tolerances (British Standards, NHBC guidelines or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in team collaboration and stakeholder management.

Experience required - Desirable

  • Valid CSCS card.
  • ICWCI membership (Assoc. ICWCI).
  • Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Senior Site Inspection or Level 2 Diploma in Site Inspection.
  • NHBC/Premier Guarantee inspection training.
