About The Role

Help us deliver Right First-Time fabrication by making sure every weld, component and record meets the standard.

We’re looking for a detail-driven Quality Inspector to support safe, compliant, defect-free delivery—working closely with fabrication teams, project teams and customer/client inspectors on a busy site environment.

Once training is complete, you will be required to work a rotating shift pattern, covering 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm shifts.

What you'll be doing

  • Carry out measurement and visual inspection activities, including weld inspection and associated reporting.
  • Ensure defined inspections are completed to plan and that quality records are created, checked and maintained.
  • Identify, quarantine and control non-conforming materials; raise non-conformance reports where required.
  • Support root-cause investigations and help drive effective corrective actions.
  • Review manufacturing/technical documentation from clients, internal technical teams and the supply chain.
  • Support delivery of project quality plans, ITPs and quality check records; help brief/coach teams on requirements.
  • Carry out calibration checks on internal equipment used within production processes.
  • Support client and third-party audits and maintain compliance with certified management systems and product standards.
  • Keep a relentless focus on Zero Harm and Right First Time delivery.

Who we're looking for

Essential

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced site environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with an observant, methodical approach.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with production teams and inspectors.
  • Good numeracy and report-writing skills, with a focus on accurate records.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
