Quality Inspector – Motorsport
Location: Motorsport Valley, Buckinghamshire
Salary: Circa £60,000 + benefits
Shift: 4x4 Days | 07:00–19:00
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
GTS Group are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a world-class high-performance engineering business within the Motorsport and Formula 1 industry.
The Role
- Carrying out dimensional and visual inspection of precision powertrain components
- Identifying non-conforming components and completing accurate inspection reports
- Producing detailed non-conformance reports (NCRs) for dimensional and visual defects
- Ensuring inspection data is accurate and correctly recorded within business systems
- Carrying out daily calibration of inspection equipment
- Working closely with engineering and production teams to maintain the highest quality standards

About You
You’ll ideally have experience as a Quality Inspector, Dimensional Inspector, or CMM Inspector within Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace, or Precision Engineering.
You should have:
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Hands-on experience using CMM inspection equipment
- Experience inspecting complex components such as cylinder heads, engine blocks, crankshafts, and gears
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to dimensional accuracy
- Experience with Talysurf and/or Quindos would be advantageous
