Summary
We’re looking for a Quality Inspector to support our Littlehampton site. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet customer, engineering, and company quality requirements.
The role will primarily focus on Goods Inwards Inspection but will also support Final Inspection and Outgoing Goods activities.

What You’ll Be Doing
Goods Inwards Inspection
- Inspect incoming materials against drawings and specifications.
- Verify dimensional conformity using measuring equipment.
- Identify and record non-conforming products.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain quality records.

Final Inspection & Outgoing Goods
- Conduct final inspection prior to dispatch.
- Create and review dimensional inspection reports.
- Ensure customer-specific requirements are met.
- Verify documentation before shipment.
- Create and assist with FAI and PPAP reports
Essential
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings & technical specifications.
- Experience using a FARO Arm or similar portable coordinate measuring equipment.
- Ability to create and interpret dimensional inspection reports.
- Competent user of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using verniers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and dial indicators.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Desirable
- Experience with CMM programming and operation.
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience working to ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Knowledge of PPAP, FAIR, and First Article Inspection processes.
