Quality Inspector – Tottenham, Multishift Roles

Location: Tottenham Salary: £17.60/hour + $1.25/hour shift premium for afternoon/night shifts Employment Type: Immediate opens


Job Overview

Position: Quality Inspector Reports To: Site Supervisor / Site Leaders

Core Responsibility: Deliver high-quality inspection services across manufacturing or warehouse sites while maintaining a safe and collaborative work environment as a trusted impartial role between production sources and customers.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Operations

  • Ensure manufactured parts/products meet predetermined quality standards
  • Perform defect checks/inspections based on set criteria
  • Read, follow, and document adherence to work instructions/processes
  • Correctly use measuring/testing equipment (including blueprints, if experienced)
  • Provide exceptional customer service that bridges gaps between facilities

Administrative & Compliance

  • Compile and log inspection data accurately
  • Comply with all company health & safety policies, UK laws, and contractual obligations

Person Specification

Skills & Abilities

Technical Requirements: All candidates must demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in English (speaking & reading) for job-related tasks
  • Strong written verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask confidently in fast-paced environments

Physical Standards:

  • Fluent endurance for standing/walking long periods while monitoring inspections
  • Mobility to bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain flexibility
  • Reliable personal transportation to multiple sites (if applicable)

Experience & Qualifications

Experience: No prior experience mandatory, but experience interpreting blueprints adds value Education: High school diploma Strongly recommended (or equivalent professional experience accepted)*
