Purpose of the Role
To inspect and verify product quality, ensuring company, client, and industry standards are met while supporting continuous improvement in quality, safety, and production performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect products and materials to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Identify and report non-conformances promptly to enable corrective action.
- Complete inspections and approvals in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records through quality management systems.
- Raise and monitor CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) reports for quality issues.
- Support quality assurance activities across production areas.
- Provide regular updates on quality performance and inspection outcomes.
Key Objectives
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and production efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with the Quality team to achieve performance targets.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of quality assurance principles and business processes.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Good quality assurance and inspection knowledge.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
- Ability to read engineering and reinforcement drawings.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Trade background with relevant quality control or production experience.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent).
Desirable
- Experience within a large manufacturing or multinational organisation.
- Evidence of continuous professional development through training or qualifications.
