Quality Lead (Adult Social Care)
Mary Rush Care | Gloucestershire
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

As we continue our growth journey, we are creating a brand-new role: Quality Lead.
This role has been designed to strengthen quality assurance, governance, and continuous improvement across our services, supporting our ambition to achieve consistently outstanding outcomes for the people we support. The role will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Registered Managers, and operational leaders.

The Opportunity
As Quality Lead, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining a high-performing quality framework across all Mary Rush Care services. You will provide oversight and support in relation to:
- Quality assurance systems
- Operational governance
- CQC compliance and inspection readiness
- Auditing programmes
- Regulatory standards
- Service improvement initiatives
- Risk management
- Learning and development relating to quality
- Continuous improvement programmes
- Quality and compliance reporting

The successful candidate will work closely with Registered Managers, operational teams, and senior leaders to drive measurable improvements while preserving the positive culture that already exists throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities - Quality Leadership
- Support the development and delivery of the organisation's quality strategy.
- Provide expert guidance to managers regarding quality, governance, and compliance.
- Coordinate improvement projects across multiple services.
- Support organisational development and growth through quality excellence.
Quality Assurance & Governance
- Lead internal audits and quality reviews.
- Analyse quality data and identify trends and opportunities.
- Support robust governance arrangements across services.
- Monitor service performance against organisational KPIs and action plans.
Regulatory & Inspection Readiness
- Coordinate CQC inspection preparation and follow-up activity.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support managers to achieve positive inspection outcomes.
- Monitor service improvement plans and quality objectives.
Coaching & Development
- Support and mentor Registered Managers and Team Leaders.
- Promote reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Embed learning from audits, incidents, complaints, and feedback.
Service Improvement
- Turn quality findings into meaningful service improvements.
- Support projects that improve outcomes for people receiving care and support.
- Promote innovation and best practice across the organisation.
About You
We are looking for an experienced quality professional who combines regulatory expertise with a passion for developing high-quality services.
Essential
- Significant experience within adult social care.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks.
- Experience in quality assurance, governance, and auditing.
- Experience supporting service improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
- Strong communication and influencing abilities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services.

Desirable
- Experience within a quality, compliance, governance, or operational leadership role.
- Experience supporting services through CQC inspections.
- Experience across supported living and/or residential care services.
- Relevant professional qualification in health, social care, leadership, or quality management.
- Experience working within multi-site care organisations.
