QA/QC Manager | Northumberland | £80,000 - £120,000 + Vehicle + Bonus + Accommodation | Major Data Centre Project

Our client is a leading international main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering some of the world's most complex and technically advanced construction projects. Due to continued growth within their mission-critical division, they are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to join one of the UK's flagship new-build data centre developments in Northumberland.

This is a rare opportunity to play a key leadership role on a landmark project, helping to drive quality standards across a major hyperscale data centre scheme from construction through to commissioning and handover.

The Role

Reporting to the senior project leadership team, the QA/QC Manager will take responsibility for all quality assurance and quality control activities across the project.

Working closely with project management, engineering teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives, you will ensure that all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

You will be responsible for promoting a culture of quality excellence throughout the project while ensuring robust QA/QC processes are implemented and maintained across all work packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all QA/QC activities across a major hyperscale data centre project.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project quality plans, procedures, and management systems.
  • Manage and coordinate inspection and testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and handover records.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality reviews.
  • Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Work closely with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
  • Produce quality reports and performance metrics for project leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Support project completion, commissioning, and handover processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
