We're looking for a Senior Quality Manager to join our Thames Water team based in Gerrards Cross.

Location: Gerrards Cross (covering the Thames Water region)

Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As our Senior Quality Manager, you'll lead and develop the regional quality team across the Thames Water region and its programme of works. You'll be responsible for quality management and assurance, making sure that design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover meet client requirements and statutory obligations. This is a strategic role where you'll set priorities, allocate resources, provide technical direction and build a culture where right-first-time delivery and continual improvement are part of everyday practice.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quality Manager, you'll be working within the Thames Water team, supporting them in delivering excellence across major capital projects and frameworks. Your day to day will include:

  • Developing and implementing the regional Quality Strategy and Programme Quality Plan aligned with business, client and project requirements
  • Leading and managing Quality Managers and Quality Engineers across the programme, setting clear objectives and standards
  • Producing programme-level reports that highlight performance, risk, trends and required leadership decisions
  • Building effective relationships with client representatives, project teams, designers, suppliers and subcontractors as the senior quality interface for the region
  • Leading regional improvement plans focused on defect prevention, right-first-time delivery and efficient completion and handover

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quality Manager is great for you if:

  • You have a project management or site management background with experience in the Water Industry
  • You have experience leading and managing Business or Quality Assurance including Management Systems in a construction environment
  • You possess good knowledge of ISO Standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You're flexible and able to travel within the UK as required and hold a CSCS Card
  • You're highly organised and responsive, with the ability to deliver under pressure and take a 'whole system' approach
