I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience within aerospace manufacturing, supporting NADCAP accreditation/audits, or working with customer-specific aerospace quality requirements would be highly advantageous.
AS9100 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor training/certification and experience using structured root cause techniques such as 8D or 5 Whys would also be beneficial.
Why Join Beagle Aircraft?
This is an opportunity to play an important role in the continued development of Quality within a specialist aerospace manufacturing environment.
You’ll have exposure across the wider manufacturing operation, working directly with process owners and supporting AS9100 compliance, internal and external audits, corrective actions, NADCAP requirements and continuous improvement.
Rather than simply maintaining documentation, you’ll have the opportunity to identify where processes can be strengthened and work with teams to make sustainable improvements.
If you’re currently working as a QMS Engineer, Quality Systems Engineer, Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor or AS9100 Auditor within manufacturing and are looking for your next opportunity in aerospace, we’d like to hear from you.
