Quality Manager – Blackpool Bakery
Company Description
We are FBC UK, Fox’s Burton’s Companies – and we bake the UK’s most incredible biscuits (our modesty won’t let us gloat, but we’ll leave that for you to guess!).
FBC UK was born from a marriage of two legendary UK biscuit manufacturers – Burton’s Biscuits and Fox’s Biscuits – to create one uniquely integrated company. Our portfolio includes household favourites like Maryland, Fox’s, Jammie Dodger, and Rocky, among others. As proud manufacturing partners to some of the UK’s biggest household names and retailers, we craft our delicious biscuits across eight bakeries nationwide:
- Isle of Arran
- Livingston
- Blackpool
- Llantarnam
- Edinburgh
- Kirkham
- Batley
- Dorset
Our HQ is based in St Paul’s, where we employ around 4,000 talented team members.
While our products are undoubtedly exceptional, we know our success comes from the passion, creativity, and drive of our people. You could be the jammy to our Dodger, the party ring to our Fox’s, or the choc-chip to our Maryland! We knead talent – from innovative thinkers to entrepreneurs – who are eager to push FBC UK to new heights.
At FBC UK, we’re dedicated to building an inclusive workforce where every team member feels valued, empowered, and motivated to build a fulfilling career. By championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), we foster an environment where everyone can thrive, challenge boundaries, and drive meaningful impact.
We believe learning is key to growth – both for our business and our colleagues. With a Commitment to continuous learning, we provide a variety of training opportunities, whether formal or on-the-job, allowing everyone to develop in ways that shape their career journey.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
