Quality Manager - Food & Beverage County Durham (Multi-Site) £50,000 - £60,000

Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking to make a real impact? We're partnering with an established and growing manufacturing business that is committed to quality, innovation and sustainability. They are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of the Quality Management System across two manufacturing sites, ensuring products consistently meet customer, regulatory and business standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving continuous improvement, leading quality initiatives and working collaboratively across multiple departments within a fast-paced food or beverage environment.

The Role

As Quality Manager, you'll take the lead in maintaining and developing the Quality Management System (QMS) while driving quality performance across both sites. You'll work closely with production, engineering and supply chain teams to improve processes, manage supplier quality and ensure full compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Plan and manage internal, supplier and third-party audits, ensuring successful outcomes and timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Investigate customer complaints, internal quality issues and non-conformances using Root Cause Analysis and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Manage supplier approval processes, supplier risk assessments and ongoing supplier performance.
  • Conduct supplier audits and oversee supplier compliance.
  • Monitor and analyse quality KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing performance and product quality.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Quality team, promoting a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards and relevant legislation across both manufacturing sites.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
