They are currently experiencing exciting growth plans with work orders and projects growing at a rapid rate, the company are looking to recruit a Quality Manager to lead and manage their growing team. The business supply their products worldwide with global reputable brand names which make them an extremely stable organisation to work for.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Setting and delivering the quality policy and objectives, preparing reports to support on agreed basis
  • Leading the quality team ensuring it operates in line with company policy and procedures
  • Co:ordinating/leading relevant quality reviews on site
  • Ensure effective quality controls for all aspects of the manufacture of product from PO to dispatch
  • Confirmation that QMS conforms with relevant international and customer standards and is fit for purpose
  • Interface with customers on quality requirements
  • Interface with suppliers on quality requirements
  • Lead Quality performance reviews (Business reviews, Customer reviews)
  • Proactively lead defect prevention / data driven Quality projects and KPIs
  • Provide reports detailing the cost of quality and preventive solutions : using non:conformance reporting as basis for this
  • Liaise with Engineering departments, advise on quality procedures to ensure quality is maintained to the highest level possible.
  • Work in a safe manner in compliance with company Health and Safety policy. Report and log Health and Safety incidents that occur

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Quality Management experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Can lead and act consistently with the companys strategy and values
  • Able to demonstrate strategic problem solving, good decision making and sound judgment
  • Demonstrates sound business and technical acumen
  • Shows a high degree of intellectual rigor during problem solving
  • Demonstrates ability to develop self and others
