Quality Manager
Location: North Yorkshire, YO62
Salary: £50,000 + 10% Bonus
Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Flexi-time Available
Working Arrangement: Office/Site-Based
We’re recruiting a Quality Manager for an established engineering and manufacturing business operating within a highly technical, project-driven environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control across manufacturing, assembly, testing, and final product delivery.
You’ll manage a quality team, maintain and improve the Quality Management System, and work closely with Operations, Engineering, customers, and suppliers to drive quality performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and continually improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring continued compliance
- Oversee quality inspection, testing, and final product acceptance
- Manage non-conformances, root cause investigations, and corrective actions
- Drive supplier quality performance and support supplier audits
- Lead, develop, and support the Quality team
- Work closely with customers on quality requirements, audits, and technical issues
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations

About You:
- Proven Quality Management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and lead auditor training
- Experience within machining, fabrication, or multi-disciplinary manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills
- Previous experience managing quality teams and engaging with customers and suppliers
- An engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent relevant experience

The Package:
- £50,000 basic salary
- 10% annual management bonus (company performance related)
- 25 days' holiday + 8 bank holidays
