Are you an experienced quality and governance leader with a passion for patient safety, continuous improvement, and regulatory excellence?
Do you enjoy leading quality initiatives, driving governance standards, and ensuring healthcare services consistently deliver outstanding patient care?
We are partnering with a specialist independent healthcare provider delivering NHS community services across London and the South East. As the organisation continues to grow, they are looking to strengthen their quality, governance, and compliance functions through the appointment of a Quality Manager.
This is a senior leadership position providing strategic oversight of quality assurance, governance, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring services remain safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led, while helping to shape the organisation's future quality strategy and supporting its continued growth and development.
The Opportunity
As Quality Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for quality, governance, and patient safety across a growing provider of NHS community services. Working closely with the Medical Director and senior leadership team, you will lead the organisation's quality agenda, ensuring robust governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement activities are embedded across all service locations.
You will lead an established Quality Team while working closely with operational teams, commissioners, and regulators to ensure services consistently demonstrate safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led practice. With responsibility for quality strategy, clinical governance, patient safety, and regulatory assurance, this role offers genuine scope to influence organisational performance and shape the future direction of quality across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
