About Celestion An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a progressive and rapidly expanding business with a large, global reach. Founded in 1924, Celestion has grown to become one of the world's largest and most innovative manufacturers of loudspeakers.

We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time Quality Manager to develop the Quality department at Celestion.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the recording, measurement & reporting of all quality activities.
  • Define, develop and implement the Quality Management System.
  • Supervision of Quality Technician.
  • Accountability for the customer complaints system.
  • Work with all departments (in UK, China & Thailand) to ensure continuous improvement activities are defined, measured, analysed, improved and controlled.

This role is a site-based role at Ipswich office. This role will involve occasional overseas travel.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A good understanding of ISO9001 and the DMAIC approach to Quality. Preferably some experience implementing/auditing quality systems.
  • Quality Assurance: minimum 1 year experience
  • Good engineering/manufacturing skills and experience.
  • Excellent IT skills, including a good, working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and management skills.
