Quality Manager
Location: Pickering, North Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus and strong benefits package
Our client is a significant manufacturing organisation based in Pickering, North Yorkshire, forming part of an international corporation. They specialise in producing technically advanced engineered systems for regulated industrial sectors and maintain stringent quality standards throughout all operations.
The Role
You would lead quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing, assembly, testing and delivery operations, managing a quality team of 6 engineers. Responsibilities include ensuring customer compliance, maintaining ISO 9001 systems, driving continuous improvement, managing audits and leading supplier quality initiatives.

Some travel to vendor and supplier sites will be required, mainly within the UK, with occasional international travel.
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical background, with the credibility to engage confidently with engineering, manufacturing and quality issues at a detailed level
- Proven ISO 9001 experience and Lead Auditor qualification
- Previous experience in client-facing and supply chain roles
- Strong problem solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement capability
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Background in multi-discipline manufacturing environment
