As manufacturing operations continue to scale, the Quality Manager (Incoming Quality) will take ownership of ensuring materials entering production meet the highest quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to build and shape incoming quality processes, working closely with suppliers, laboratories, and production teams to drive quality performance from the very start of the manufacturing process.

The Quality Manager (Incoming Quality) will:

  • Define and implement incoming quality processes aligned with IATF 16949.
  • Develop risk-based inspection and verification strategies for incoming materials.
  • Manage supplier quality issues, supporting investigations and corrective actions.
  • Support MSA activities and laboratory testing requirements.
  • Monitor quality performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop the Incoming Quality team while supporting production readiness.

The Quality Manager (Incoming Quality) will have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Core Quality Tools, including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA.
  • Experience working with chemicals, powders, slurries, or similar process materials.
  • Experience supporting supplier quality activities and problem-solving investigations.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience leading teams or developing quality capability.
