Discover your exciting role

As a Quality Manager you will be focused on leading and delivering Quality within Manufacturing, working to the agreed IMS procedures. You will identify improvements and escalate where change is needed. In this role you will be a representative of Exentec Hargreaves to external stakeholders including clients, and be a point of contact for internal and external matters relating to Quality, Compliance and Certification. The role will require the ability to make appropriate decisions when conducting inspections/tests at Suppliers and Sub-contractor’s premises either independently or with the client in attendance.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Team leadership and development: You will have clear responsibility for developing the Manufacturing Quality team, setting priorities and holding people accountable.
  • IMS compliance: You will ensure agreed IMS procedures, manufacturing controls and quality requirements are followed and embedded.
  • Manufacturing quality performance: Take ownership of NCRs, corrective actions, inspections, ITP/checklist completion, calibration and right-first-time performance.
  • Traceability and evidence: Ensure manufacturing records provide robust, accurate and retrievable evidence throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Risk-based quality culture: You will promote proportionate quality controls, appropriate escalation and a strong safety/quality culture.
  • To ensure the correct specifications are applied to the company’s products.
  • To provide inspection services when required.

Show your expertise

  • ISO 9001 Auditor / Lead Auditors certificate
  • Extensive knowledge of managing quality operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to develop client and supplier relationships ensuring compliance with relevant standards, specifications and instructions.
  • Ability to continually develop the company Quality Management System ensuring compliance with the latest National and European standards.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments and projects (nuclear / transport / pharmaceuticals)
  • Detailed Knowledge of quality standards and industry specifications for ductwork and construction and associated ventilation equipment would be preferred but is not essential.
