Requirements

  • Surveillances of activities supporting the Project Quality Plan and Contractors Quality Plans / Inspection and Test Plans
  • Manage and support Project teams in the development of Inspection Test Plans/Quality Checklists
  • Work closely with the site engineers to ensure the Quality process is being carried out on site.
  • Manage and carry out regular inspections/audits to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Quality Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements.
  • Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Company procedures and Contract Requirements
  • Coordinate and manage closure of non-conformities or performance improvement actions.
  • Provide Quality input into the Supplier pre-qualification process where required.
  • Review of documentation such as Quality Plans, including documents originated by Contractors.
  • Provide Quality support to the project / Client as required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Skills card - CSCS Card (relevant type)
    All roles are expected to have the relevant competency skills cards where site based work is required
  • HNC/HND/Degree qualified or relevant experience in Quality Management
  • Relevant experience and qualifications for working with High Voltage / Low Voltage transmission & distribution systems
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in standard computer programmes including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure that all work is prioritised to meet project requirements
  • Team player with ability to coach and mentor others as required

Desirable

  • Member of CQI
  • HND / Degree in Engineering Discipline desirable
