Salary: £52,500 - £56,500
About us
Scientific Management International designs and manufactures, “fit and forget” cable systems that form the central nervous system of platforms operating in hostile environments, including naval ships, submarines, aircraft, offshore power generation and transport.
Our bespoke pressure moulded cable harness systems, through-hull penetrators and connectors reliably connect a platform's systems throughout their life. We deliver to a wide variety of sectors operating in the most challenging and hostile environments on the planet.
About the role
Joining us as a Quality Manager will see you driving daily quality excellence within our manufacturing operations and fostering a strong quality-focused culture across the organisation.
You will develop, implement and maintain robust quality systems to ensure compliance with defence industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

The role is based at our HQ in Andover.
About You
You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of instilling a quality culture throughout an organisation, utilising your deep understanding of quality management systems to ensure that quality standards are not only maintained - but improved. You will be adept at working collaboratively across teams to achieve quality excellence, utilising your natural leadership skills to lead, motivate and support a small, friendly and dedicated quality team.
Whilst experience of working within the defence sector is advantageous, we would be interested in speaking with you if you have any experience within an electro-mechanical, or highly regulated, manufacturing field.
