Main Purpose: To support the effective implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System within the Subsea business, ensuring quality risks are identified and controlled, relevant standards and requirements are applied, quality performance is transparent, and employees are equipped to apply consistent quality methods. The role will work across functions and quality networks to strengthen quality culture, improve customer experience, enable preventive action, and support sustainable business performance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Quality Management System Implementation: Support the development, implementation, assessment, and continual improvement of quality concepts, procedures, methods, and tools within the assigned Subsea organization or quality area, ensuring they are practical, effective, and aligned with business needs.
  • Quality Culture: Work with management and functional teams to promote an open, transparent, and proactive quality culture in which issues are raised early, learning is shared, and prevention is prioritized over reaction.
  • Risk-Based Quality Management: Provide guidance to ensure quality risks are identified, evaluated, considered, and controlled throughout relevant business, design, and operational processes and through the effective use of the Quality Management System.
  • Customer Experience and Feedback: Support the monitoring and review of customer experience and satisfaction measures across the end-to-end customer journey, including NPS, CXI, and other relevant feedback mechanisms where applicable, ensuring insights are translated into appropriate improvement actions.
  • Quality Transparency and Data Analysis: Create clear, timely, and accessible visibility of quality performance, risks, and trends through appropriate data, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis, enabling evidence-based decision-making, preventive action, and continuous improvement.
  • Preventive Quality and Continuous Improvement: Use quality data, risk information, lessons learned, and structured improvement methods to identify emerging issues, strengthen controls, and improve business and product quality performance.
  • Standards and Compliance: Ensure relevant quality standards, legal requirements, internal procedures, and customer requirements are understood, implemented, and periodically assessed within the assigned organization or quality area.
  • Digital Quality Improvement: Identify, develop, and support innovative digital solutions that improve quality transparency, efficiency, traceability, and decision-making, encouraging creative thinking and practical application of new approaches.
  • Lean and Agile Improvement: Coach and support team members involved in Lean or agile improvement activities and, where appropriate, coordinate or lead improvement initiatives using recognized methods such as PDCA, problem solving, Value Stream Mapping, and agile project practices.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze end-to-end processes and connected process steps to identify waste, quality risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improved flow, standardization, and effectiveness.
  • Quality Training and Coaching: Develop, coordinate, and deliver training and guidance for employees in relevant quality methods, processes, tools, and behaviors, supporting consistent application across the organization.
  • Quality Coordination: Coordinate quality-related activities and, where required, groups of quality professionals or subject-matter contributors without direct line-management responsibility, ensuring actions, priorities, and deliverables remain aligned.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Ensure effective cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, clarifying quality requirements, resolving issues, and supporting coordinated decision-making across functions and partner organizations.
  • Quality Network Coordination: Support or coordinate assigned national and international quality networks in a defined quality area, promoting alignment, standardization, knowledge sharing, and effective transfer of lessons learned across sites and functions.
  • Management Support and Escalation: Provide clear quality information, advice, and escalation to accountable management where significant quality risks, compliance concerns, or systemic issues require leadership attention or decision.
  • Audit and Management System Assurance: Support internal, customer, and external audits and other management-system assurance activities, ensuring findings, risks, and improvement actions are appropriately addressed and sustained.
  • Cross-functional Improvement: Work collaboratively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and other supporting functions to ensure quality considerations are integrated into business decisions and improvement activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
