A leading global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Quality Specialist to join its Quality function on a 12-month contract. Operating within a highly regulated environment, the business is committed to maintaining the highest standards of product quality, patient safety and regulatory compliance across its operations.
Your new role
As a Quality Specialist, you will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with GMP, GDP and wider GxP requirements. Responsibilities will include managing deviations, CAPAs, change controls and complaints, supporting audit and inspection readiness activities, maintaining quality documentation and training records, and contributing to Product Quality Reviews. You will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Pharmacovigilance and Manufacturing to ensure quality objectives are achieved.

- Degree in a Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or Pharmacy or related field.
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical Quality Assurance or Quality Systems environment.
- Hands-on experience managing or supporting deviations, CAPAs, change controls and complaint investigations.
- Strong understanding of GDP requirement, with GMP experience.
- Experience working within a QMS: document control, training compliance and quality records management.
- Exposure to audit and inspection readiness activities: support during internal, customer or regulatory inspections.
- Knowledge of supplier quality, vendor management, quality agreements or supplier qualification processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Applicants must have unrestricted right to work in the UK for the full duration of the contract, as sponsorship cannot be provided.
