Contract Quality Engineer
3 Month Contract Outside IR35

Owen Daniels Consultancy are working with a leading manufacturing business who are seeking an experienced Contract Quality Engineer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. The successful candidate will support the recovery of the internal audit programme, review PFMEAs and Control Plans, and manage a customer requalification submission.

- Complete outstanding internal audits and update audit documentation.
- Review and update existing PFMEAs and Control Plans.
- Support the review and approval of revised quality documentation.
- Prepare and submit a customer annual requalification package.
- Support corrective actions and follow-up activities.
- Provide a full handover of completed activities and outstanding actions.
Contract Quality Engineer – Requirements:
- IATF 16949 Internal Auditor certification from a recognised body.
- Practical experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and AIAG/VDA Core Tools.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and internal auditing.
- Ability to work independently and deliver against defined deadlines.
