Craft your future with Suntory Oceania, a new $3b multi-beverage partnership between Suntory Global Spirits and Suntory Beverage and Food. Underpinned by quality, craftmanship and a strong sense of purpose, our exciting new partnership will be powered by two manufacturing sites, five distribution centres and more than 1500 Suntorians across Australia and New Zealand.

Our market-leading portfolio will have over 40 brands including Jim Beam® and Maker’s Mark® Bourbon, Hibiki® Japanese Whisky, Canadian Club® Whisky, -196, V Energy, Maximus and Suntory BOSS Coffee. As One Suntory, we will be positioned as the fourth largest beverage player in the region, ready to ignite the category, creating more beverage moments from sunrise to sunset. Together, we will bring the best of Suntory to Oceania.

We're now looking for a passionate Quality Specialist to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ipswich and help build a world-class quality culture.

The Opportunity

Quality is at the heart of everything we do. As a Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards from raw materials through to finished goods.

Working closely with our Manufacturing, Packaging, and Supply Chain teams, you'll help champion quality at source, support site-wide food safety and quality initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across our operations.

About The Role

Where craft meets innovation

  • Support quality and food safety activities across manufacturing, blending, filling, and packaging operations.
  • Partner with operational teams to identify opportunities where quality can add value and improve performance.
  • Support root cause investigations and problem-solving activities for quality-related issues.
  • Manage and support non-conformance processes, corrective actions, and product release activities.
  • Review Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and support raw material and incoming goods inspections.
  • Conduct GMP, GLP, hygiene, and quality system audits across the site.
  • Perform and support analytical and microbiological testing activities in line with approved standards.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the site's Quality Management System.
  • Support training and capability development of manufacturing teams in routine quality and microbiological procedures.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You are an energetic and collaborative quality professional who enjoys working cross-functionally and influencing positive outcomes.

You'll Bring

  • A Degree or Diploma qualification in Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within food, beverage, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, GMP, GLP, hygiene, and food safety principles.
  • Understanding of microbiological testing and quality assurance practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement and change initiatives.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
