Quality Systems Lead | Food Manufacturing
Norwich Area
Up to £52,000
Monday–Friday | 8am–5pm
We are working on behalf of a leading food manufacturer to recruit an experienced Quality Systems Lead for their site.
This is a key site-based role responsible for driving food safety, quality, and compliance, ensuring robust systems are in place and standards are maintained across a fast-paced manufacturing operation.
The Role Will Include:
- Maintaining and developing the site Quality Management System (QMS)
- Leading internal audit programmes and supporting customer and third-party audits
- Ensuring compliance with BRCGS, customer, and legislative standards
- Managing customer complaints, investigations, and corrective actions
- Leading root cause analysis and continuous improvement activity
- Reviewing quality trends, KPIs, and compliance data
- Supporting specifications and technical information systems
- Developing Quality Technologists and Technical Administration teams
- Driving a strong food safety and quality culture across the site

What We're Looking For:

- Quality/Technical Systems experience within food manufacturing
- Degree or Diploma in Food Safety, Food Technology, or related discipline
- HACCP Level 4
- Strong knowledge of QMS, food safety legislation, and auditing
- BRCGS and customer audit experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong investigation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
This role could suit an established Quality Systems Lead/Manager or a strong Technical/Quality Systems professional ready to take the next step.
