Your new role:
We are looking for a proactive and influential Quality Manager to lead, maintain and continuously improve Häfele UK’s integrated management systems. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring quality remains a business-wide priority, supporting the continued achievement of certified standards while driving practical improvements across service, performance and operations efficiency.
This is a visible and cross-functional role where you will work closely with departmental managers, lead the internal audit approach and support colleagues across the business to embed best practice, strengthen compliance and deliver measurable improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain Häfele UK’s integrated management systems, ensuring procedures, controls and certified standards are clearly defined, applied and continually improved.
- Maintain audit readiness across multiple certifications, coordinating evidence requirements, management reviews and corrective actions.
- Oversee internal audit planning, reporting and follow-up activity, ensuring non-conformances are addressed effectively through root cause analysis and practical solutions.
- Build strong working relationships across departments to embed quality, service performance and sustainability into everyday decision making.
- Develop and deliver a rolling continuous improvement plan, using quality data, KPI performance, audit findings and operational feedback to drive measurable progress.
- Investigate customer complaints, quality concerns and recurring issues, ensuring actions are followed through and risks are appropriately managed.
- Coach and support the Lead Auditor and dotted-line quality representatives to build capability and consistency across the business.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in a senior quality management, quality assurance, integrated management systems or operational compliance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of certified standards and integrated management systems ISO9001.
- Auditor qualification or demonstrable audit experience, with confidence managing conformance, corrective actions and root cause analysis.
- Experience maintaining multiple certified standards and supporting external certification audits.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend practical improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence constructively across different departments.
- Experience coaching, developing or guiding others, alongside strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A practical understanding of continuous improvement methods such as Lean, problem solving or process mapping would be highly beneficial.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Core hours of work are 8:45am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, however, flexibility will be required for this role. The role is site based in Rugby, Warwickshire, with flexibility for hybrid working where appropriate.
The role would be well suited to an experienced quality professional who enjoys combining strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. You will be confident working across functions, influencing stakeholders and using data, audit insight and continuous improvement tools to drive meaningful change.
