Quality Systems Coordinator

Quality Systems Coordinator Fixed-term position (maternity cover), Coleraine, Northern Ireland

About the Role

Here at Kinisla, we’re recruiting for a Quality Systems Coordinator (fixed-term maternity cover) based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland.

You’ll provide critical support to the Quality Systems Team in Europe, collaborating on region-wide and global strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will span operational, analytical, and administrative dimensions:

  • Oversee product release requests from the warehouse, based on validated testing results (microbiological & analytical).
  • Manage and generate regional and global KPIs, ensuring timely internal (weekly/monthly) and external reporting (customer-facing monthly/quarterly deliveries).
  • Maintain SAP and Pest Control systems (including PCO portal updates).
  • Account for lab consumables stock (including PPE), coordinating requisitions for the technical department by managing purchase orders and deliveries.
  • Coordinate customer complaints and external warehouse storage fulfilment.
  • Execute Customer portal alerts and RM Approval documentation reviews.
  • Maintain structured product inspection schedules, investigations, and trend analysis across:
    • FS&Q() Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) records.
    • Sheflife sample evaluations.
  • Execute and report on internal QMS audits.
  • Develop and train on SOP is, ensuring documentation aligns with compliance requirements.
  • Reecute administrative coverage as needed for the Quality Systems Manager under delegated duties.

Deliverables: ✔ Ad hoc tasks central to business growth and regulatory compliance.


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential

  • Diploma (or higher) in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated numerical literacy with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and apply findings.
  • Fundamental working's understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (FSQMS), including:
    • The BRC Global Food Standard standards.
    • Industry-relevant compliance frameworks (specific customer requirements relevant to product outlook).
  • Familiar with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
