Quality Systems & Data Lead

Location: St Athan / Gaydon (with regular cross-site travel)

At Aston Martin, quality is at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to evolve our manufacturing and business capabilities, we are investing in the systems, processes and data that enable world-class performance. We are now seeking a talented Quality Systems & Data Lead to join our Quality team and play a pivotal role in shaping how quality information is managed, reported and utilised across the business.

Reporting to the Quality Strategy & Systems Manager, this is a unique opportunity to lead the development of the data infrastructure that underpins Aston Martin's Quality function. Working across our St Athan and Gaydon sites, you will be responsible for creating a connected, reliable and transparent quality reporting environment, enabling informed decision-making at every level of the organisation.

As the Quality Systems & Data Lead, you will design, develop and maintain robust data flows across multiple systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency and accessibility. You will help transform fragmented information into a single source of truth by creating clear data architectures, centralising key performance indicators and establishing effective reporting pathways that support governance, performance management and continuous improvement.

A significant aspect of the role will involve collaborating closely with Quality, IT, Aftersales and wider business stakeholders to align data definitions, reporting standards and performance measures. Acting as a key interface between technical data teams and operational users, you will ensure that complex datasets are translated into meaningful insights that drive business performance and strategic decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
