Are you an experienced Quality Engineer, Quality Systems Engineer, or Quality Assurance Engineer with strong experience managing ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, NCRs, CAPA, root cause analysis, audits, and quality documentation within a manufacturing environment?
Do you want to take ownership of key Quality Management processes within a well-established manufacturing business, in a role focused on quality systems, compliance, continuous improvement, documentation control, and corrective actions rather than routine inspection?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established UK manufacturer of bolts and pipeline commodities, supplying global markets from a 24/7 production facility. With almost 50 years of experience, the company is committed to maintaining high quality standards, strong technical capability, and continuous improvement across its operations.
In this role, you will work across the business to maintain and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System while supporting manufacturing operations through effective quality engineering. You will manage NCRs from initiation through investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action, and closure, as well as supporting CAPA activities, internal audits, document control, traceability records, customer and supplier quality issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
