Pan Stone Europe
Pan Stone Europe is a Wrexham-based engineering company supplying and supporting specialist rubber injection and compression moulding machinery throughout Europe.
We are creating a new position for an experienced, practically minded person to help us strengthen and standardise the way our business operates.
This is much more than a document-control position. The successful candidate will work directly with our management, office and engineering teams to understand how work is currently performed and turn that knowledge into clear, reliable and practical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and managing our spare-parts stock-control and automated carousel system
- Creating SOPs, work instructions, checklists and process maps
- Reducing reliance on knowledge held by individual employees
- Developing business-continuity procedures across accounts, sales, service and administration
- Working with our engineers to produce technical, testing, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding procedures
- Establishing effective document control and revision management
- Creating training and competency matrices
- Organising company information and procedures through Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Supporting continuous improvement throughout the business

We would be particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Engineering or manufacturing technical authorship
- Quality-management systems and ISO 9001
- SOP and work-instruction development
- Continuous or process improvement
- Inventory, ERP, MRP or spare-parts management
- Engineering document control
- Training and competency systems

Experience with rubber-processing machinery is not essential. More important is the ability to work with experienced employees, understand technical and operational processes, and convert that knowledge into systems people can actually use.

Salary
Approximately £38,000–£45,000, depending on experience
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would enjoy taking ownership of a significant improvement project and building practical systems across a growing international engineering business.
