Quality Team Member (Night Shift) - FTC

Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Contract: Fixed Term Contract

Shift: Night Shift (39 hours per week)

We're looking for a Quality Team Member to join our night shift team in Bury St Edmunds. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a crucial part in ensuring food safety, product quality and site compliance throughout production.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out quality checks, audits and product releases
  • Conducting laboratory testing and equipment calibration checks
  • Supporting food safety, HACCP and validation activities
  • Investigating quality issues and customer complaints
  • Performing GMP and hygiene audits across the site
  • Reviewing supplier documentation and Certificates of Analysis
  • Maintaining accurate quality records and technical data
  • Supporting operator training on critical quality controls
  • Ensuring issues are identified, communicated and resolved quickly

No two shifts are the same. You'll be the eyes and ears of quality on site, helping to ensure every product leaving our factory meets the highest standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a Quality, Technical or Food Safety role in food manufacturing
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for getting things right
  • The ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
  • Basic Food Hygiene knowledge
  • Basic Excel skills
