About The Role

We are currently seeking a Quality Technician to support the QC/QA Managers in ensuring the day-to-day activities within the business units are maintained.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but not limited;

  • Maintaining all quality documentation and ensuring these meet current requirements and accreditations held by the company.
  • Work with all business unit managers to maintain a quality focused culture and ensure that engineering standards are maintained.
  • Help manage the ISO 9001 accredited Quality Management System, ensuring that this evolves with our business.
  • Support the planning and execution of our internal and external audits, driving accountability and improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances and turning challenges into opportunities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to uphold quality standards, conduct assessments, and drive performance improvements.
  • Continuous improvements support this by identifying trends, analysing data and implementing proactive solutions to enhance product and process quality.
  • Cross functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, production and procurement teams to embed quality into every stage of the value chain.
  • Communication of the quality management system, from working instructions and quality plans, is done so effectively and with understanding.
  • Collate quality information and results for weekly and monthly meetings and dashboards.
  • Support business units with calibration equipment and the testing and verification requirements.

You will need a strong understanding of compliance and quality management standards, and have experience with quality assurance and improvement methodologies. Certified Internal Auditor with demonstrable experience of non-conformance and incident investigation. (ISO9001:2015). Be Solution driven with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate experience of championing quality culture within a business.
